A live recording of my caprices esquisses can be heard here. A studio recording of this piece will be on my solo album released by The Night With... coming out later this year.
My miniature for quartet was performed by Tesseris at the first Leith New Music night in July. Live recording can be heard here.
My recent commissions include die for violin and percussion which was premiered by Rachel Koblyakov and Noe Rodrigo-Gisbert in the Boulez Saal in Berlin in 2022, as well as composing and performing an electroacoustic soundtrack to FLOOD, a virtual reality theatre show co-produced by Emma Hamilton at Stare at the Wall in Paris, and Megaverse in the UK.
This image, taken in the atelier of Gregory Ryan in Paris, is of the score of my piece you might be right... written for my wonderful friend Josh Hyde. The musical phrases are derived from a text I wrote (which does not appear explicitly in the piece) and it can be played either as a duet or a quartet with each part being reversible. We performed it together in the atelier, duet against a recorded duet of ourselves on different instruments. Our youngest audience member Gabriel, who was eight at the time, observed that it sounded like we were having a conversation.
My latest scores including the caprices esquisses for solo violin, and die in mixed forms will soon be published and released on the collaborative new label with John Hails harmony harmony...
